Chitral, March 29:<\/strong> Four persons died and four were critically injured in a road mishap at Raeen village of Torko valley. \u00a0According to SHO Police Station Torkho\u00a0 Shamsher Elahi a passenger Jeep \u00a0bearing registration number RIP 5198 carrying \u00a0some 7 passengers from Milp to Raeen at Torkho Tehsil. fell into a deep ravine while negotiating a narrow turn. 4 persons including driver \u00a0of vehicle died on the spot and 4 injured badly.<\/p>\n

The intra-district roads in Chitral are very dangerous and several dozens of people lose their lives in accidents every year. File Photo<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The deceased were identified as Noroz \u00a0Khan son of Massar Khan, \u00a0Mumtaz son of Ali Murad, Ali hah son of Gohar Khan and Driver Ubaidullah son of Sultan nickname Jano Yar Khan, while Sher Afzal, Rahmadullah, Ahmad Zareen and Rahmat Wazir were injured in this fatal incident.<\/p>\n

Injured were shifted to rural health center Shahgram.<\/p>\n

Poor condition of the road is being quoted as the major cause of the accident. The road pass through Torkhor river and mountain series but there is no parapet, protection and side wall on road side toward the river.<\/p>\n
