A program was\u00a0held here at AKHSS gilgit on 5<\/strong>th<\/sup> Oct 2009 early in the morning. It started with\u00a0singing of the school’s official song, which reads as … <\/strong><\/p>\n

The <\/strong>energetic comparing of Khayyam baig and Zia rocked the crowd. Such program<\/strong> becomes more attractive when celebrated with cream of <\/strong>Gilgit Baltistan<\/strong>\u2019s students.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The spirited and highly talented students of AKHSS, belonging to all parts of Gilgit \u2013 Baltistan presented speech<\/strong>es, poetry and word<\/strong>s of admiration and appreciation for their teachers.\u00a0 Speaking on the occasion Hasnan <\/strong>Butt said,\u201dWhy God created teachers<\/strong>\/\u00a0In His wisdom and His grace<\/strong>\/\u00a0Was to help us learn to make our world<\/strong>\/A better, wiser place\u201d. And at other place he quoted Edward bulwark’s words \u201c<\/strong>The best teacher is the one who suggests rather than dogmatizes, and inspires his listener with the wish to teach himself\u201d . <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

Teachers also expressed their feelings and ideas. S<\/strong>aif ud din <\/strong>S<\/strong>aif<\/strong>, a young poet and teacher of Chemistry,<\/strong> shared his ideas and explained in depth the background of <\/strong>H<\/strong>azrat Ali’s quotation<\/strong>, <\/strong>\u201cThe one who taught me a single word made me his slave.’ <\/strong>Also sharing their teaching experiences on the occasion were<\/strong> <\/strong>Mr<\/strong> <\/strong>S<\/strong>ajad ,<\/strong>S<\/strong>her, <\/strong>A<\/strong>ltaf and Miss suriya<\/strong>, among<\/strong> others.\u00a0A volunteer from Canada also participated in the event.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n
