PROGRAM OBJECTIVES for Ambassadorial Scholarships
GENERAL ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must have completed at least two years of university or college course work, or must have a secondary school education and have been employed in a recognized vocation for at least two years when the scholarship begins. All applicants must be citizens of a
country in which there is a Rotary club. Applicants must initially apply through a Rotary club located in the area of their legal or permanent residence, or place of full-time study or employment.
Types of scholarships
Academic-Year Ambassadorial Scholarships provide a flat grant of US$25,000 for one academic year of study in another country. These awards are intended to help defray costs associated with round-trip transportation, tuition and other fees, room and board, and some educational supplies. They are the most common type of Ambassadorial Scholarships.
Multi-Year Ambassadorial Scholarships help fund two years of degree-oriented study in another country. A flat grant of $12,500 is provided each year.
Cultural Ambassadorial Scholarships help finance either three or six months of intensive language study and cultural immersion in another country. They provide a flat grant of $12,000 for three months and $17,000 for six months. Funds are intended to offset costs associated with round-trip transportation, language training, and homestay living arrangements. Applications are considered for candidates interested in studying Arabic, English, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, and Swedish.
Some Rotary districts may offer only one type of scholarship, or none at all. Applicants must check with their local club about availability. Grants are provided in U.S. dollars or their international equivalent.

An International humanitarian, non-profit and non-sectarian Organization specializing in providing emergency relief, rehabilitation, and development assistance to victims of natural disasters and conflicts worldwide, Our focus is on helping government and communities to transition (early recovery) from emergency to long term socio economic development.
We started operations in Baluchistan in October 2007. We expected to initiate a new project targeting the communities in districts Pishin and Qilla Saifullah. Under this project we are seeking applications for the following positions. The positions are initially for the period of 6 months with possibility of further extension.
Ideal candidates should have an understanding of local socio-economic, cultural, political conditions, and experience working with international development program in conflict, culturally sensitive regions, preferably fluency in local Languages & English.

Overview:
· Ensure that all project/assignment related procurement are made in timely manner and purchase procedures are followed.
· Ensure timely payment of all payments following up with Administration and Logistics unit.
· Site supervision of work during implementation at Bagh and Mansehra.
· Maintain a log register for all outgoing and incoming mail.
· Assist in fleet management, purchasing and other logistical issues.
