GILGIT—A Pak-China friendship tunnel is being established some 30 kilometers off Sust area, to facilitate the people of both sides. According to General Manager National Highway Authority, Abdullah Jan that the tunnel is part of the ongoing projects of expansion of Karakuram Highway. He told reporters here on Saturday that length of this tunnel is about 480 meter long and the project would be completed within the period of one year. He said that a Chinese firm is engaged in many projects of Karakuram Highway including the construction of tunnel. Daily Mail online
