Hunza-Nagar Press Club appoints office bearers and members

Aliabad, December 29: The Hunza-Nagar Press Club appointed its new office bearers. The oath taking ceremony was held in Aliabad, administered by Advocate Zahoor Karim.
According to a press release, Ghulam Murtaza Shamiri has been appointed president, Ijlal Hussain as vice-president, Asadullah Ghazi as joint secretary, Iqbal as finance secretary, Mueez Shah as office secretary, Yusuf Nagri as Information Secretary, while Ali Ahmed, Zakir Hussain and Ahmad Barcha have been appointed as members of the press club.
Speaking at the occasion, Advocate Zahoor emphasized on the office bearers and members to promote social good through journalism, while highlighting issues of the masses. He urged the office bearers and members to play an active role for eradication of the culture of black-mailing and irresponsible journalism.
