Today, the Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan urged the notables of Diamer to discourage the protesters from blocking the Karakuram Highway every now and then because the closure affects common people more than any one else, he told a delegation from Diamer that called on him.

The KKH is the backbone of Gilgit-Baltistan’s economy and its closure every now and then is causing a lot of stress for commuters, besides causing huge economic loss for the region’s traders and transporters.
