Four precious lives lost as van falls into ravine

Chilas (August 1)    An unfortunate incident happened to a van on its way from the twin cities to Gilgit. The passenger van plunged into a deep ravine near Babusar pass. The van was on its routine passenger transport service on Kaghan road, an alternative to Karakorum highway (KKH) connecting Gilgit to Rawalpindi via Kaghan-Naran valley. At least four people have been reported dead while 12 got serous injuries. The injured passengers  have been shifted to hospitals in Chilas town.

Hearing the sad news locals rushed to the site of the accident and helped to recover the dead bodies and shift the injured passengers to the nearest the district headquarter Chilas.
