Gilgit-Baltistan gets first ever woman SP

GILGIT: Tahira Yasub becomes Gilgit-Baltistan’s first-ever woman Superintendent of Police (SP) posted in Hunza.

Tahira is a graduate in International Relations from Karakoram International University and already served as Gilgit-Baltistan’s first woman superintendent of traffic police. She has also served as AIG logistics.

She was selected twice for UN peacekeeping missions to represent Pakistan.
