Qayyum Ali Shah of Ghulkin joins Pracitcal Action South Asia, in Sri Lanka

Qayyum Ali Shah, a resident of Ghulkin, Gojal, has resumed his new responsibilities in Practical Action South Asia (formerly ITDG) as Project Manager, in Sri Lanka. For couple of weeks he will be in Colombo and after that he will be based in eastern part of the country, handling livelihood projects.
We, members of the Pamir Times family, congratulate Qayyum for this new assignment and wish him best of luck for the future.

We had met in Islamabad before you left but again through this fourm I would like to say, enjoy your international assignment.
I have been to Sri Lanka few years back and they have scaled up some of the appropriate technology packages to unbeliveable limits.
You are one of the few exceptions ( expat) from the Karakarum mountains to compliment in international development. I am certain that you will also dessiminate your relevent learnings with the coummunities back home which is needed and is desirable.
