To integrate “real” Muslims into our societies will prove as an illusion. Over the generations we will see this as a fundamentalist “Muslim Trojan Horse” being implanted into our secular societies that eventually will destroy our values, our life-styles and finally our societies from inside . . . and this apart from the terrorist dangers created by some, which are signaling as zaidi’s killing…rt?

  5. Mr. Aa/sad Zaidi was a real leader in his region. It is big loss for our society.I am really sorry for Pakistan.I think that talibanization is trying to expand their activities in this region. But the peacefull people of this region will not allow this terrorists to be successfull. The problem of our country is the lack of education, weak and corrupt poitical and judicial system. We need a revolution by the people to remove all corrupt system from the country and to punish the corrupt political and army and judicial bodies. To have a healthy and positive society, there is a lot of responsiblities on the government, media and parents to make aware the society.becuase the corruption is not running in our blood.

  9. This is really a big terrorist act. The people of this area is already suffering lot of problems and have lot of hurdles. This area is despite struggled by their own and got freedom and then request to affiliate with Islamic Republic of Pakistan at their own discretion, they didn’t got their moral, democratic, social, legal, human and real rights from the first day. Now, upto some extent when the people of this area is start getting rights but at a minimum level, some powers that may be global or domestic is trying to destabilise this process. sometimes by engaging the people in sectarian war and some times in any other issues. The killing of Syed Asad Zaidi is also a part of that game. Some times they targeted a sunni figure and some times a Shia figure, this is just to disturb the peaceful atmosphere of this area which is really looks like a part of heaven. Now the responsibility of this area becomes very much high. They really have to bust this type of conspiracies by unity, faith and discipline. All the people of Northern areas either they are Sunni or Shia, Balti or Shina, Buroshiski or Wakhi or any other, they have to show their unity, they have to vipe off the influence of these negative elements from this area. Other wise all the negative elements will gather in this area and could make this area unsafe and disturb. So, I request the people of this area to show their UNITY, and the Govt. to take strong action against those who challenges the authority of the Govt. and let people feel safe and secure, and don’t let the negative elements make this area hell. Please, give the democratic rights to this area and the people as well.

  10. Dear Sir(s),
The death of Mr. Zaida is undoubtedly a huge loss for the Northern Area and for the entire country. In the 1980’s I visited Pakistan, in fact all four provinces, two or three times a year in a peaceful and constructive period. I wish that the country will recover from the current challenges so as to be able to start its development course anew. Sincerely yours.
