PM gives no time frame for upgradation of SKardu and Gilgit airports

Gilgit, September 30: Gilani gave no timeframe for the upgradation of Gilgit and Skardu airports, which has been a long-standing demand by the locals to promote tourism in the area.

He, however, announced construction of a dispensary in Chellem valley of Astore district.

He also directed the chief secretary to fill 5,000 vacant positions available in the GB police department on urgent basis.

An important decision announced by the PM was lifting of ban on issuance of PC IV for different projects. Due to this ban various projects had remained incomplete for several years.
