KCBL introducing advance salary scheme in Gilgit – Baltistan

Gilgit, December 1: The Karakorm Cooperative Bank Limited (KCBL) has approved an advance salary scheme for the employees of various government‚ semi government‚ autonomous‚ semi-autonomous and NGOs working in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Sher Jahan Mir, the Banks’ General Manager, shared this information at a news conference in Gilgit today.

According to the scheme, employees will be able to get loans of up to 500,000 rupees, in lieu of their 18 salaries, repayable in 16 instalments, over a period of 3 years.

The scheme is likely to benefit the people who are in dire need of money.
