Ishkoman protests come to an end, Naji helps defuse the situation

Chatorkhand, December 16: BNF leader, Nawaz Naji, played an important role in defusing the power protests that started in Ishkoman valley a week back. The protesters had nominated MLA Naji as their chief negotiator for dialogues with the government and administration.

Around 61 people named in FIRs related to the power riots have agreed to hand themselves over to the police. It has also been agreed that the protesters will not be charged under Anti-Terrorism Act.

Majority of the demands of the people of Ishkoman have been accepted, but they have not been exempted from load-shedding, due to lack of power generation capacity.
