Thousands attend Tableeghi congregation in Chilas

Gilgit, December 31: Thousands of people attended a three-day long religious congregation focused at preaching virtue that concluded today in the district headquarters of Diamer.

The three-days congregation was addressed by renowned Ulema, who preached the message of peace and brotherhood among the Muslim Ummah and respect for humanity.

The preachers emphasized on preservation and promotion of the Islamic code of life, as defined by Quran and Sunnah.

The faithful also offered prayers for the revival of Islamic identity and betterment of the Islamic Ummah.

Elaborate security measures had been taken to ensure safety of the congregation.
