Islamabad, January 12: Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo has said that land measuring twelve canal has been acquired from Capital Development Authority for building the premises of Gilgit-Baltistan Council Secretariat.
Addressing at meeting held in Islamabad yesterday to review the performance of newly established Gilgit-Baltistan Council Secretariat he Minister expressed satisfaction on its working‚ saying it was going on right track.
He said rules were also approved for recruitment in the Council Secretariat. The Minister directed the merit should be the top priority in appointments of new posts. In this respect‚ Chairman of Gilgit-Baltistan Secretariat would give opinion.
