Workshop on governance for development concluded in Gulmit

Gulmit: The HiMat Indigenous and Development Programe recently conducted a workshop on governance for development in Gulmit, Tehsil headquarters of Gojal. The training was attended by 75 leaders, serving in different organizations in the jurisdiction of Mountain Areas Support Organization (MASO).
The programme is focused on capacity development of remote rural communities, institutions and leaders, with the aim of creating sustainable peace and prosperity in the GB region.
At the end of the workshop a certificate was given to Adil Shah for his efforts in the economic development of different Institution.
A participant Humaria, serving in Girls Guide Passu, termed the workshop to be very constructive. She sounded positive about impact of the workshop.
