US delegation visited Gulmit – Gojal, inquired about relief situation

Our Correspondent

Gulmit, May 31: A three member delegation from the US Embassy in Islamabad visited Gulmit, the Tehsil Headquarters of Gojal Valley, upper Hunza. Members of the delegation met local people and inquired about the relief situation. They particularly asked about the relief items, high energy biscuits and chocolate, provided by USAID last year. They also visited the community based Al – Amyn Model School.

It is pertinent to note that USAID is financing construction of a girls hostel in Gulmit.

The delegation, comprising of the Counselor General, Economist and the embassy’s security staff, was accompanied by AIG Asghar and some other government officials.

  1. Rather then providing us with so called high energy biscuits tell them to lower the pressure on Islamabad, and let them open the dammed river.

  2. Particularly Inquired about High energy biscuits and Chocolates ??
I can,t stop my laugh seriously.

  3. HIGH ENERGY BISCUITS AND CHOCOLATES I DONT KNOW WHAT IS IN THEM BE CARE FULL DO WE REALLY NEED THEM? IT SEEMS THEY ARE ALL PLAYING WITH US

  4. I think the point behind inquiring particularly about the high energy bisbuits and chocolates is suspicious 🙂
