MQM urges stakeholders to play role for peace in Gilgit

Gilgit: The leaders of Gilgit-Baltistan chapter of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) appealed people from all walks of life to play their due roles in maintaining peace and harmony in Gilgit. Addressing a media briefing in Gilgit, Hidayat Ali, Zonal Incharge, Rehmat Ali and Muhammad Shah called upon all political and religious parties to shun their differences and play their crucial role to ensure peace and prosperity in the city.
They said MQM has been playing the most important role in this regard by organizing Ulema Conference and peace seminars in Gilgit. MQM will continue its effort in creating peace and harmony in Gilgit-Baltistan, they informed.
