GBVM organized “Art for Future, Art for Change” workshop in Gahkuch, Ghizer

Gahkuch, September 8 (PR): The Gilgit-Baltistan Volunteers Movement (GBVM) organized an “Art For Future, Art for Change” workshop for youth, aimed at enhancing civic engagement of youth, by employing their artistic skills for social reformation and reorganization.

The three-days workshop was held from 6th to 8th September at a local hotel in Gahkuch, the headquarters of Ghizer district. It was attended by around 32 youngsters, including 15 females.

The workshop was highly appreciated by the participants and they hoped that similar programmes will also be held in the future, to provide the youth with positive and constructive social space for reflection, learning and self-expression.

The workshop was conducted by Rozina Bano, Bachlors of art in communication design from NCA Lahore, currently working as art teacher and coordinator at the Army Public School and College Jutial Gilgit, Rehmat Karim, having Bachelors of art in Fine Arts from NCA Lahore, currently working on different projects with Arts Acedamy Gilgit Baltisan, and Rizwan Ullah, having Bechlors of Art in Tevelvision and Films Video Production, currently working on different projects with Art Acedamy.
