Baltit Rural Support Organization elects new cabinet

Hunza: Cabinet of the Baltit Rural Support Organisation (BRSO) at the end of its 2-years tenure democratically transferred responsibilities to a new cabinet on 29th Dec 2013.

The decision was taken at the Annual General Meeting, attended by hundreds of stakeholders. The members voted for election of the new Board of Directors (BODs). Out of 15 BODs, three officer bearers and one technocrat were elected on 31st December 2013.

Mr. Noor Khan was given the responsibilities of chairman, Ms. Shugufta Zulfiqar Vice Chairperson, while Mr. Meherban Karim General Secretary, and Ms. Sameena Naz  was elected as a Technocrat.

Mr. Mansoor Khan, Ms. Naseem Bano, Mr. Imtiaz Karim, Ms. Bilques Asad, Mr. Shukur Ullah Baig, Ms. Meher Perver, Mr. Abdul Ghafar, Ms. Malika-e-Fozia, Mr. Nusrat Ali were elected board members.
