Gilgit: Fairy Meadows is one of the most beautiful areas of Gilgit-Baltistan. It is frequented annually by thousands of tourists during the summers, when the land wears greenery, and flowers sprout like across the hills, planes and the valleys in myriad shades.

These photographs captured by Nasir Ahmed powerfully depict that the beauty of the area does not fade with the arrival of the harsh winters, when the Fairy Meadows receives tonnes of snow every year.
