Suju Hunzu Festival held in Karachi

Karachi, March 16: The Suju Hunzu (Beautiful Hunza) festival was held in Karachi under the auspices of Baltit Academic Development Organization (BADA), a student body working for promotion of arts, culture and education. The event was attended by large number of people belonging to all three parts of the Hunza Valley (Shinaki, Cental Hunza and Gojal). Former Chief Secretary of GB, Sajjad Saleem Hotiana was the chief guest at the occasion.

Artist and singers from different parts of Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral performed enthralling songs, winning accolades from the audience. Among the performers were Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah (Chitral), Naveed Tanha, Irfan Ali Bahadur and others. Musicians from the Hunza Classical Group brought the melodies and music of the mountains to the coastal city, like a fresh and soothing wave.

BADA has been organizing cultural events in Karachi for the last many years.
