Milkyway Youth Movement announces scholarships for students of AKHSS, Hunza
Islamabad: Milky Way Youth Movement has announced scholarships for student of Aga Khan Higher Secondary School Hunza on need cum merit basis.
According to details, Milky Way after winning a competition organized by G.M.Baig Trust for Human Development among all the youth orgainizations of Gilgit Baltistan, got R.s 100,000 in grant and it has decided to announce the scholarships for the students of AKHSS Hunza.
The Movement is supporting 51 students of higher secondary school system across Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitra, a PR received here said.
The last date for submission of scholarship form at the school office will be Friday 28th march 2014. The students will then appear for an interview followed by recommendations of principal and finance department of the school. Finally chairman, advisory board and core team will short list the candidates till 10th of April.
Milky Way was founded in 2010 by a young child rights activist of Gilgit Baltistan Shahzaman, since then it is contributing to promote education by raising the slogan of “today’s youth for tomorrow’s youth” and so far, supported over 100 kids, launched milky way academy and wisdom center in gilgit baltistan.
