Parliamentary committee to probe delays in Gilgit airport expansion project

Islamabad: The Senate Standing Committee for Cabinet Secretariat Monday formed a special three-member committee to investigate and report on the issues that led to delays in expansion of the Gilgit airport.

The three-member committee comprises Senator Talha Mehmood, Senator Yusuf Badini and Senator Humayun Mandokhel.

The senate committee also proposes increase in the number of flights being operated between Gilgit, Skardu and Rawalpindi.
