Girls primary school Chourbut needing Chief Secretary’s attention
Ghangche: Govt. Girl Primary School Hassanabad Chorbut District Ghanche constructed by spending huge amount from Government treasury in 2008 is still in the position pictured above.
Education department is not ready to manage school because it has not been handed over to them and the contractor has not completed the remaining works of construction.
According to PWD Ghanche the school is 100% completed and the contractor has got his security from PWD.
PWD Ghanche authorities are believed to be involved in the misappropriation of Govt. funds.
The locals have appealed to the Chief Secretary Gilgit- Baltistan to conduct special inquiry about the misappropriation of the funds in this scheme and order to run the school.
