Naat competition held in Gilgit

Gilgit, December 25: Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation organized Gilgit-Baltistan level Naat Competition at Radio Pakistan Gilgit on Thursday as part of the Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) celebrations. A total of 60 Naat Khawans from across GB participated the competition in four age categories, under 15 boys and girls and boys and girls between 15 and 25 years of age.
Al Waez Naik Alam Shah, Khushi Muhammad Tariq, and Muhammad Ismail judged the Naat Khawans and announced the winners in each category.
In the first category of girls under 15, Nadia Mariam secured first position, Nena Aziz got second position, while Shabana Zaheer stood third.
In the second category of boys under 15, Aizaz Hussain got first position, , Muhammad Suqlain stood second, while Qazi Muhammad Bilal secured third.
In the third category of females between 15 and 25 year of age, Dur Afshan secured first position, Nelufar Hassan got second position, while Abida Parveen stood third.
In the fourth category of boys between 15 and 25 year of age, Farooq Alam secured first position, Muhammad Hassnain got second position, while Asif Ali stood third.
The first position holders from Gilgit-Baltistan will took part in All Pakistan Naat Competition on 31 December at Radio Pakistan Rawalpindi. The final competition will be held at Z.A Bukhari Auditorium of Radio Pakistan Islamabad.
