GB council meets today

ISLAMABAD:  The Gilgit-Baltistan Council will hold its meeting here tomorrow under the chair of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to mainly discuss the extension of National Action Plan against terrorism to the areas.

Being the chairman of the council, Nawaz would take the members into confidence on the measures so far taken on counter-terrorism. The matter of extension of National Action Plan to Gilgit-Baltistan would figure in the meeting and the council would give formal approval for that. The meeting will also discuss various development projects for the region.
