Breaking: Baba Jan, 12 companions acquitted by Chief Court in one case

Gilgit, April 9: Setting aside the judgement of the Anti-Terrorism Court Gilgit, a two-member bench of the Chief Court of Gilgit-Baltistan acquitted PYF and Awami Workers Party leader Baba Jan and his 12 companions in one of the many cases registered against the progressive leaders and workers.
According to details, Justice Yar Muhammad and Justice Muhammad Alam while hearing the case today set aside the ATC’s verdict in case number 20/11, and annulled all the punishments, including life imprisonment, financial penalties and rigorous imprisonment.
In this case Baba Jan and his 12 other companions, all hailing from the Hunza valley, were accused of arson.
Baba Jan and his companions were represented by Advocate Zafar and his companion.
