Syed Mukhtar, Noorbakhshia scholar and prayer leader has passed away

Ghanche: Religious cleric of Noorbakhshia sect, Syed Mukhtar, passed away at District Headquarter Hospital Skardu after living for almost a century.

Syed Mukhtar was the prayer leader of the Khanqah Thagas of district Ghanche. He was admitted to the District Head Quarters Hospital Skardu due to fever, where he breathed his last.

He is survived by two sons and two daughters.

He will be laid to rest at his native village Thagas.
