Gilgit: The Karakorum International University (KIU) on Friday announced the results of B.Ed. examination of 2016. A total of 1’947 students appeared for the examinations. The ratio of success was 77.3 per cent for regular candidates and 72.87 per cent for private candidates.
Private candidate Anjum Shaheen daughter of Shaheen Khan from Sherqilla Ghizer begged the first position by securing 850 marks. Private candidate Zakir Hussain son of Ghulam Mehdi from Skardu stood second by getting 847 marks. Private candidates Muhammad Sharif son of Muhammad Ibrahim from Ghanche and Shumaila Ijlal daughter of Ijlal Hussain from Gilgit begged third positions by securing 845 marks.
