Gilgit (PR): Gilgit-Baltistan police has decided to lunch a drive against narcotics and illegal weapons across Gilgit-Baltistan.
The decision was taken in a high level meeting chaired by Inspector General Police (IGP) Sabir Ahmed held at Central Police Office (CPO) Gilgit. All DIGs attended the meeting.
“Purging Society of this menace is our top priority,” said the police chief whose determination and commitment has acclaimed recognition in society.
Police has been able to arrest drug peddlers in Gilgit and other parts of the region. The new drive will help eliminate drugs making inroads in society especially among youth.
