Karakoram Highway to remain open on 9th and 10th of Muharram: Spokesman

GILGIT: The decision of closing the Karakoram Highway on the 9th and 10th of Muharram has been reversed. Gilgit-Baltsitan govt’s spokesman, Faizullah Faraq has said that the decision was causing troubles for tourists and other travelers.
He has said that the KKH will remain open, but the security will be enhanced by better patrolling and deployment.
