Chief justice takes notice of the Tourism Minister’s misbehaviour with Islamabad airport official

Islamabad: Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar on Friday took notice over the incident of alleged misbehaving of Fida Hussain, Minister Tourism GB with Arrival Incharge at Islamabad International Airport.

According to a press release issued by the apex court, both the parties were served notices to appear in the court at Supreme Court Branch Registry Lahore on Saturday, 17th November.

A video went viral on Thursday morning in which the Minister for Tourism is seen manhandling an official of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) at Islamabad airport over cancellation of a Gilgit-bound flight.

GB Tourism Minister Fida Khan, Law Minister Aurangzeb Khan and some other passengers had also burnt parts of their clothes and brawled with airport officials inside the airport in protest of the frequent cancellation of PIA flights.
