Gilgit-Baltistan’s top judges sworn in

Gilgit, February 8: Gilgit-Baltistan’s top judges were sworn in today at a ceremny in the regional capital. The oath-taking was administered by Justice Rana Arshad of the Supreme Appellate Court of Gilgit-Bltistan.
According to details, Justice Raja Jalaluddin and Justice Muzaffar Ali took oath as judges of the Supreme Appellate Court while Justice Sahib Khan was sworn in as Acting-Chief Judge of the Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Court.
The positions had been vacant for several months due which dispensation of justice had become a major challenge in the region.
