PPP leaders demand separate seat for Hunza in NALA

A press release by PPP Hunza region states that senior vice president of PPP Hunza, Aziz Jan Nadir, along with Farman Ullah Razi, vice persident of PYO Hunza, met Farhat Ullah Babar, the PPP’s spokesperson, in Islamabad.
According to the press release the two young leaders communicated to Mr Farhat the longstanding demand of the people Hunza valley for additioanl NALA seat.
They, however, have demanded that the constituency of the new seat needs to be determined and demarcated, before any decison is taken on awarding of the new seat. In a formula unvield earlier, Altit had been annexed in Gojal valley for creating an electroal constituency.
Aziz Jan said that the people of Hunza were liberated from clutches of an exploitative system because of the efforts of Z.A.Bhuttoo. He hoped that the government of PPP would, in tradition of Bhuttoo, honor the desire and demand of the people of Hunza for addtional NALA seat. The press release states that Farhat Ullah Babar assured the two regional leaderst that an additional seat would be awarded to Hunza valley, before NALA polls, due this year.

The efforts of these two young leaders needs to be highly appreciated and I would like to suggest that a coordinated effort should be made in this regard.
Our local leadership should be well prepared for allocation of the additional NALA seat for Hunza by doing their home-work. I hope the interests of the people of Hunza and Gojal are given due consideration while proceeding on this issue.
Local study groups comprising of educated and elders should be formed to analyze this new development on our political areana

Can we discuss of the issues existing these days in Gojal which are the Compensation of the expansion of KKH and the most important problem of electricity… no one is there to ask them what is happening, so the political representatives are directed to make sure their cooperation to the public in regard to these major problems.
