Gilgit/Skardu/Chilas: Markets have been shut and vehicles are off the road in different parts of Giglit-Baltistan as part of a ‘shutter down’ and ‘wheel jam’ strike called by a the recently formed Anti-Tax Movement. The ATM, as it is popularly being called in the region, comprises of around a dozen trade groups and unions, and is backed by several political parties. Here we will update photographs and other details from time to time as the situation proceeds.
