Dubai to host Gilgit Baltistan Musical Night on February 17
DUBAI: The first ever Gilgit Baltistan Musical Night to be held in the heart of United Arab Emirates Dubai on February 17th at Pakistan Auditorium Oud Metha Road. The event has been organized by civil society activists from Gilgit Baltistan residing in UAE. Sara Hashwani will be the chief guest of the event and Jafar Ullah Khan Deputy Speaker GB, Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Minister of Works will be among other dignitaries. The participation of some members of GB legislative assembly is also expected.
The two renowned artists from Gilgit Baltistan Shahid A.Qalandar and Jaber Khan Jaber will perform on special invitation from event organizers. Other artists include Rashid Iqbal Rashid, Raja Babar, Naveed Tanha, Ali Balti, Sajad ul Rahman, Munir Hunzai, Mir Afzal, Fida Hussain and Imtiyaz Hussain.
The purpose of this event is mainly to create awareness about the potential of GB diversity in terms of different languages and music. This event is also marked as a breakthrough event for future events and cultural shows of GB in UAE.
