VC Baltistan University to receive three American Fisheries Society Awards in USA

ISLAMABAD: (PR)  Vice Chancellor, Baltistan University, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naeem Khan left for USA for a week-long official visit to USA to attend the 149^th Annual American Fisheries Society (AFS) Conference in Reno, Nevada, USA, from September 28 to October 4, 2019.

Prof. Naeem Khan will present his research paper and also receive three (3) American Fisheries Society Awards, which include, “Western Division AFS International Professional Award”; “AFS International Fisheries Section (IFS), Carl Sullivan Award, and “California-Nevada Chapter AFS Semi-Annual Travel Award-2019”.  The Ministry of Kashmir Affairs & GB, Islamabad, issued the necessary NOC after its summary was approved by the President of Pakistan / Chancellor UOBS, on the advice of the Prime Minister, having no financial liability on the part of Government of Pakistan.
