Noor Muhammad Left for China

noor.jpgKarachi March 10:  Noor Muhammad has left this evening for Peking to attend the 2nd Asian International Model United Nations (AIMUN) Conference to be held on March 13-16, 2008. This is an event that provides a platform for passionate college students to discuss a myriad of global issues that include political conflicts, economic collaboration and societal dilemmas.

The team of gojal.net and Pamir Times wishes him a very successful exposure and learning. We hope it would be an experience of a lifetime for him.

World Bank and AKDN to preserve Lahore’s “Walled City”

ISLAMABAD, March 7: The World Bank (WB) and the Aga Khan Trust for Culture (AKTC), an agency of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), have signed a memorandum of understanding for collaboration on the ‘Urban Regeneration of the Walled City of Lahore’.

According to a press release issued here, the MoU completes a partnership of the World Bank, AKDN and the government of Punjab.
