Darkut in Yasin Valley – Ghizar

Darkut is a very beautiful village of Yasin Valley, in Ghizar district. It is the last village of Yasin Valley, moving towards Chitral. A glacier separates Darkut from Boroghil Valley, of Chitral. The local people speak Burushaski (Yasini) and Wakhi languages. At a distance of two kilometer is a hot spring, gushing from the ground, in front of the wild beauty of the majestic glacier. I went to Darkut Valley in 2003. It was an amazing experience. [Noor]

Is there any match to this sheer beauty in the world?. Nature lovers from all over the world are ready to pay thousands of dollars to com and see and enjoy these gifts of the Almighty while we are doing our best to stop them from comming by acts of terrorism, spread of drugs etc.

It’s really beautiful, i have been there once in my life and i really enjoyed that area, its darkoot pass which connect Wakhan corridor and Yasin,,,,,,, really beautiful…….

Darkut is my native village.I love it and its every part.The population of Darkut is About 3000.But all the people of its is really brave , hospitable,patriots and hard workers.they have also cooperation with each other.The peop[le of Dakut are traditional.Boo,Boro and Hemaz are the culture of Darkut.There are also present two huge lakes which are namely Ghamober Lake and Khalthir Lake.the Thalthir Lake is present on top of the mountain. Althouh my lovely vallage Darkut is already a beautiful area but i pray for it that Almighty Allah may give more beauty.i give a suggustion to all visitors that they visit this really beautifull Area and enjoy.

iam also belonging to yasin and i have seen the darkot valley. it is very beautiful. it is the region of high mountains and grassy peastures.i love yasin and also darkot.
yasin is a very beautiful place so the torests are invited to visit yasin and admir the beauty of yasin.

It is beyond doubt that there is abundance of beauty in the landscape and mountains of this area of our region, which is truly exists in the lap of the nature.
As for as tourism is concerned, now a days foreigners are reluctant to come to Pakistan due to the overall situation.

DARKUT VALLEY,

Darkut is another valley in Ghizer District. it is beautiful valley with snow caped mountains, lush green fields and friendly people. Darkut valley touches the Darkut Pass to Afghanistan and Tajikistan.

I am from yasin village hundur (Lalak Abad). So i like to say you yasin has their own history and value. and also called to this valley the Martyer place so proude of my vallage, and invite to all people visite to yasin.
