Ex-Mukhi Ali Dad from Shishkat Passed away
Hunza, April 28: A famous social activist, former Mukhi and Khalipha from Shishkat passed away last night in Gilgit after a short period of illness. His body will be burried in Shishkat this morning.
The team of Pamir Times salute his services for the community and extends condolence to the bereaved family.

It is very shocking news for the family members of the family members and the people of Gujal, particularly of Shiskat, where Late Ali Dad had long history of honorary service. Besides, late Ali Dad was one of the first batch students of Diamond Jubilee school Gulmit, started in September 1946, he was also a Whaky poet. Indeed, his demise is a great loss for all of us. I know the sudden departure of the deceased soul has greatly affected the lives of Mrs. Ali Dad, his sons: Karim, Hakeem, Nawab, Aslam and his daughters: Nasima and Nasreen and other relatives. I pray that may Moula rest his soul in eternal peace and give courage to the all family members to bear the shock.

Indeed a great lose for the family and for the entire areas. Late Ali Dad was in real sense a symbol, who spent his whole life in service of the community. He serves the community with full zeal and was respected a lot.

Hearing about the sudden departure of Mr Ali Dad from this mortal world has personnally shocked me. By nature, as far as I tried to know him, late Ali Dad was a very gentle and soft person with ever smiling face. His services in different walks of life are not hidden and we cannot forget such selfless personalities of our regon. He was one of the founding teachers provided educating to diferent generations. He was a dedicated and an honest community leader.
Being a Mukhi and Khalifa, he was a person whose practical invovement and contricutions was in the pleasures and sorrows (marriages and deaths)of the community besides other social services.
Today, late Ali Dad’s sudden death has given all us a great jerk and sorrow. Personally to me as I was had intended to go him and learn from this positively knowledgeable person. But unfortunately that dream couldn’t turn into reality.
On this suddent occasion, I would like to extend my cordial condolence to Karim Jan, his siblings and family; Mr Roshan Ali, Mr Muhammad Jan and their family along with the late’s sisters and their chldren.
May Allah rest his sole in eternal peace and confere patience to the bereaved family. (Amen)

It was a shocking moment for me and my family members when my beloved father (Huzoor Mukhi Ali Dad) suddenly passed away on 28th April 2008.
Here I will just mention about my father as human being, as an active social member of the community. He served the community as khalifa for more then 50 years and as Mukhi for 12 years.
We all the family members are thank full to all those who supported us in this difficult time. We are deeply touched with the messages of condolence. We request to keep praying for the soul of my late father.
