Hunza, May 16: The students of Federal Government Boys High School, Gulmit, celebrated Mother’s Day on Tuesday May 13 with great zeal, paying tribute to their mothers, and all morthers of the world, for all their sacrifices and love. Roza Muzafar Uddin Shah was Chief Guest and Rah Numa, both guest mothers, presided the event. The event was attended by a large number of mothers, fathers, school teachers and community notables. Students presented songs, skits, tablaus, speeches and also also gifted greeting cards to their mothers, as a token of their love and appreciation!
Mr Tawakal Muhammad, newly appointed Head Master of the school while addressing the mothers requested to give proper and special attention to the children who are attending Governemnt schools, and not the community based schools. He promised that in his capacity he will utilise all resources to bring the school at par with other educational institutions in the region.
The mothers appreciated efforts of Head Master for bringing positive changes in the school by improving the curricular and co-curricular activities. The parents also viisted IT and Science Labs and appreciated the availability of modern facilities to the students.
