Career Counseling workshop organised for youth

Hunza, August 02: A “Career Awareness and Counseling” workshop was conducted in the premises of F.G Girls College Karimabad in order to assist the students in choosing their careers on the basis of their abilities and skills. The workshop aimed to help students to realize their own strength, thereby developing their self-confidence.
The workshop was jointly organised by AKYSB, AKRSP, AKEPB and Karimabad Youth Organisation, attended by about 200 students from Lower, central and upper Hunza.
The resource persons gave detailed presentations on different subjects, educational loans and scholarships according to local needs. Different organisations also shared with the participants about their youth development programmes. The participants stressed the need to organise such programmes at local levels also.The owner of Gilgit College of Commerce announced fifty percent fee remission for the students of Hunza in I.Com and B.Com.

I appreciate and respect your sharp observation. Indeed the term counseling has been spelled wrongly on the banner.
I hope that the organizers of such events, before counseling others, also reflect, on their own preparation levels.
