A spokesman of the administration said the meeting presided over by Northern Areas Chief Secretary Babar Yaqoob Fateh Mohammad discussed 13 projects.
The spokesperson said NADWP deferred a project in health sector on technical ground and asked the quarters concerned to get the PC-1 reviewed and come up with new one keeping in view the public needs.
The NADWP also recommended four projects — 26MW Skardu, 4MW Thack, Chilas and a project of Disaster Management — to Central Development Working Party for consideration because they were beyond their jurisdiction as their cost was too high.
Earlier, on Wednesday the spokesman said the Northern Area Departmental Developmental Committee in a meeting gave approval to 34 out of 41 projects in various sectors and deferred seven projects on technical grounds.
