GILGIT, Jan 14:
An anti-terrorist court sentenced a man to death in the high profile murder case of a renowned child specialist, court official told Dawn.Administrative Judge of AntiTerrorist Court No.1, Raja Shahbaz announced the verdict on Wednesday. He also imposed a fine of Rs300,000 on the convict, the official said.
The court also sentenced the murderer seven years vigorous jail for possession of illegal weapon.
The decision says the fine would be recovered by auctioning the convict’s movable and immoveable property and would be paid to the legal heirs of the deceased.
