Journalists in Gilgit boycott PML (N) coverage

Gilgit, November 17: Strongly reacting to the threats received by journalists from activists of PML (N) and an attack on the secretary general of Gilgit union of journalists, media practitioners in the region called for coverage boycott of PML (N) activities.
The journalists also expressed concern over attitude of PPP leadership during the polls. They asked the government intervene and ensure freedom of press and safety of the journalists.
Media, besides Pamir Times, has been a real failure during the elections, specially in the GBLA 21 yaseen. there was a situation created that could initiate a real blood shed in Yasin, specially GEO NEWS has shown ultimate immaturity in this regard.
well thanks to God nothing happened as situation was neutralized at early stage of Propaganda.
