Judicial Commission held DSP Babar responsible for double murder in Hunza: Wazir Shakeel

All FIRs against protesters should be withdrawn, Judicial Commission had recommended

Gilgit, January 9: Senior Journalist Manzar Shigri has reported GB Law Minister, Wazir Shakil, as saying that a judicial commission formed to investigate the killing of two IDPs in Hunza and the resultant violence has named DSP Babar as the main culprit.
“The Commission had found Babar guilty of incompetence and negligence”, the minister reportedly said. He has further said that the Judicial Commission had recommended annulment of FIRs against those held in connection with violent protests, terming the violence to be an “emotional reaction”.
However, Law Minister said that it is not possible for the government to finish the FIRs because massive damages had been caused to public property.
The Law minister has negated the news that CM, Speaker, Law Minister (himself) and officials of the district administration had been named in the inquiry report as culprits.
“The Commission held the provincial government responsible on the account of delays in releasing funds that led to protests”, the Law Minister has reportedly said.
After the revelations by Wazir Shakil, the demand for making the report public officially is likely to increase manifolds because hundreds of youth were tortured and kept in jail even after the commission had completed its probe and submitted the report to Chief Secretary and Chief Minister.
Justice delayed is justice denied!!
The culperts must be punished as per the law with out delay, only by this way we can retore peace & prosperity in the GB

It will be a long way to identify,explore and punish the people who were behind baabar.People of hunza should consolidate their efforts to punish Babar and to release the people behind the bars.what i suspect and have seen in murtazaabd hunza Wazir Baig being the sukueen went for the condolence on the death of one of Babar’s uncle.There wazir Baig has fully assured them in a secret meeting that he would do every possible effort to protect Babar. Until babar is brought to justice People of Hunza will never be able to reveal the hands behind. Ghadaar ko pehlay lao insaaf ke category ma fir daikhain sazishi ko thay.However people of hunza should tackle the matter in with political vision and intelectual wit.People should protest but it should not be violent and Hunzais should also break the existing calture of protest to make authorities heard them.However Ghaddar ko jal az jal saza milni chahiay……
The efforts and findings of the judicial commission and Wazir Shakeel are appreciable and the authorities should not use delaying tactics in giving punishment to the people responsible for the killings of the innocent IDPs and the innocent detained youth and leaders should be released from jail as soon as possible. Otherwise, this delaying approach might lead to another violence in Hunza.
