Anger in Baltistan as victim of Kohistan Carnage is laid to rest

Skardu, March 1: Speakers lashed out against the GB government and the “authorities” demanding protection from terrorists and miscreants. Thousands of people had gathered to attend the funeral procession of Syed Hussain Shah, one of the 16 people martyred in a horrific act of terrorism on the Karakruam Highway, near Harban Nallah, Kohistan.

The speakers said that if the the government cannot secure the Karakuram Highway it shall open the Skardu – Kargil road to ensure safer passage for people of the region.

People were seen weeping while the body was being taken for burial.
