GB government responsible for lawlessness in the region: High Court Bar Association

March 8: Gigit Baltistan High Court Bar Association has decided to build pressure on government for implementation peace accord and a committee has been formed to look into the metter.This decesion was made during general body meeting of the bar association.President High court bar Ehsan Ali presided over the meeting.

Addressing on the occasion lawyers held government responsible for the lawlessness in the region and said that government had failed to protect the life and property of the people.

The lawyers vowed to play an active role in restoration of peace and harmony in the region.

“Ulema and civil society should cooperate with us in the peace restoration efforts”, the speakers requested.

Meanwhile after consultation Ehsan Ali announced to set up a peace committee comprising  office bearers of high court bar and all seven district bar associations.
