Chilas: 5 prisoners escape from jail

Chilas, August 1: At least five prisoners convicted for murder and robbery have escaped from the District Jail Chilas, headquarters of the Diamer District in Gilgit – Baltistan. Police sources informed that the prisoners broke the lock of their barrack and cut off barbed wires on walls of the jail early Wednesday morning.

Police has started searching for the escaped prisoners.
